Organizing lists with views

Save filtered slices of your inbox, contacts, transactions, and listings

Views are the tabs across the top of your inbox, contacts, transactions, and listings. Each one is a saved slice of that list, with its own filters, layout, and fields. Changes save to the view as you make them, so there's no save button.

What you start with

Every list opens on All, which shows everything you can see. Transactions also starts with Purchases, Sales, Leases, and Rentals. All can't be renamed or deleted. The rest are yours to change or remove.

Add a view

  1. Hover over the tabs and click + at the end of them
  2. Name the view and click Create
  3. Click + Filter to choose what it shows

A new view starts with no filters, so it shows everything until you add one. On your phone, tap the view name at the top, then Add view.

Filter a view

Click + Filter and pick a field. Fields with set values give you a checklist, and ticking more than one matches any of them. Text fields match what you type, so a view where From contains "zillow" catches every Zillow address.

Click a filter to change it or remove it. Some fields can also exclude, like a stage that is not Closed or a sender that does not contain "noreply".

What you can filter on:

  • Inbox. From, subject, category, status, filed on, and mailbox
  • Contacts. Name, email, phone, stage, company, lead source, and owner
  • Transactions. Title, type, stage, member, and owner
  • Listings. Address, members, seller, stage, city, state, and owner

Archived mail only shows in a view whose status filter includes Archived. To see mail for one deal, filter the inbox on Filed on and pick the listing or transaction.

Change the layout

Click Display, the sliders icon at the right of the filter row, to set:

  • Layout. List or board for contacts and transactions. List or sidebar for the inbox, where sidebar keeps the open email beside the list.
  • Group by. The inbox can group by date, filed on, category, status, or sender.
  • Fields. Turn columns on or off.

Rename or delete a view

Right-click the tab and choose Rename or Delete. Deleting a view doesn't touch any records, they still show on All. Renaming and deleting work on desktop only.

Your views are your own

Teammates have their own views and never see yours. Search isn't saved to a view either. It narrows whichever view you're on until you clear it.

If you're the broker of record, your inbox also has a Brokerage view with mail from across the workspace.

Ask the assistant

The assistant can set views up for you. Try "organize my inbox into views" or "add a view for deals under contract." For a broad ask it suggests a few views first and creates them once you agree.
